The Swiss quality ingrained in BIRCHMEIER Sprayers is exampled by their long life and durability in many different environmental conditions. Following are Some of the unique features that makes the Birchmeier Backpack Sprayers the only spray equipment in its class:

  • The machine is well-balanced and fits comfortably on the operator’s back
  • The tank is made of corrosion resistant hard polyethylene that is mounted on a solid stainless steel base, and incorporates a UV light inhibitor.
  • The pump mechanism is situated out side the tank, limiting its contact with corrosive chemicals.
  • The pump is equipped with a lubricating piston that allows the user to grease the pump without dismantling the unit.
  • Each Sprayer is also equipped with Birchmeier’s Solid Brass Spray Valve, offering a latch mechanism to allow continuous spraying with limited effort.

The Closed System Backpack Sprayer draws pre-mixed spray material from a 2-1/2-gal. container that fits inside the tank. This allows you to pre-mix chemicals before going to the field. Includes one 2-1/2-gal. container. Sprayer has the same high-quality features as the standard Birchmeier backpacks including an externally mounted pump, brass cylinder, brass shutoff valve and external cylinder lubrication. Maximum pressure is less than most backpack sprayers at 40 psi, but is ideal for herbicide applications and reducing spray drift.
